Diagnostics & Investigation
Water sampling is the critical first step in identifying potential corrosion issues in your fire sprinkler system. Our technicians collect samples from both the sprinkler system and the public water supply to establish a baseline and identify any bacterial contamination or chemical imbalances.
The samples are analyzed in a certified laboratory to detect the presence of sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB) and iron-oxidizing bacteria (IOB), which are the primary culprits behind Microbiologically Influenced Corrosion (MIC).
This analysis also measures pH levels, dissolved oxygen, and other chemical properties that contribute to corrosion risk, providing a comprehensive picture of your system’s vulnerability.
